The project includes the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Gjovik City Hall to meet the future requirements of a functional, effective and accessible Town Hall for the Gjovik municipality. A rehabilitated town hall to answer societal goals by housing political and cultural features, services directed at citizens, and offer attractive workplaces and a good working environment for employees within the organization. In addition, there set high goals in project quality, energy use, recycling and economy. For achieving project objectives mentioned above, the pilot project conducted under targets within BREEAM about environmental rating "very good".
Gjovik City Hall will be the first town hall in Norway to achieve such a BREEAM classification.
